Hi, everyone! I’m Amy from Savory Moments and I’m hosting the Friday Frenzy this week! It’s getting harder to pick featured posts as more and more people are linking up each week! Here are a few that stuck out to me (I’m in full-on Halloween and fall mode right now).

Featured Posts

First up are these Halloween Pumpkin Napkin Ring Printables from Everyday Parties. I’m not an overly crafty person, but I’d love to do things like this for holidays as my kids get a little older and excited for our annual traditions.

Next up are these Apple Corn Muffins from Marilyn’s Treats. We recently went apple picking and we always pick a lot of apples – so I’m always looking for tasty ways to enjoy them! I love this flavor combination for autumn.

The last feature for this week is this Sweet Potato Crockpot Soup from Faith, Hope, Love, & Luck. I’m a big sweet potato fan and this soup looks terrific for fall and winter. Plus I love being able to make anything in my slow cooker!

Thanks to everyone who has been linking up and participating! I can’t wait to see what everyone shares this week!

Hey Everybody! Chef Sarah Elizabeth here bringing you this week’s Friday Frenzy. It’s FALL! I love fall and everything it brings. Pumpkins, warm tones, cool weather, sweaters, cozy evenings with fires and blankets. I live in Southern California so I don’t get to experience actual fall. We are having some slightly cooler weather in the mornings lately, but by 3:00pm it is already back up to 80F. We’re going apple picking this weekend, I’ve already decorated our house for Halloween, and we sit in the air conditioned coffee shop when we want to enjoy the hot fall beverages (PSL anyone?!) Okay Okay, enough with my love of fall. Here are my completely fall biased picks for this week’s Friday Frenzy.

Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn from Savory Moments. Caramel Corn is already so fallish in my book, so adding pumpkin spice just ups it to next level fall. This will make a great snack for our 1.5 hour drive to apple picking!

  4. Boo-terscotch M&M Cookies from Kelly Lynn’s Sweets and Treats. First of all, how cute is that name?! Secondly, gimme a whole batch of these please!Pumpkin Chocolate Whoopie Cookies from Faith Hope Love and Luck Survive Despite a Whiskered Accomplice. I love how these photos are styled with a skeleton! The recipe certainly sounds delicious, too.

Hi everyone! It’s Melissa from MelClaire and I’m so excited that it’s my turn to write the post for this week. The summer has already or is coming to a close for most of you, but for me, it’s still so hot, I can’t even imagine that fall will ever arrive. The Southern US is notorious for warm weather, but this year, I can’t even feel the hint of a cool breeze like I normally can this time of year. But school is back in session and it’s “officially” fall, so I won’t let a little thing like 90 degree temperatures stop me from dreaming!

We had so many great, fantastic posts added to the party last week and I had a lot of fun picking my favorites. As you can imagine, they all kinda remind me of this time of year and you may just see a pattern! Anyway, I hope your fall is going great and wonderful! Thanks for joining us for the party again this week. You are the best!!!

What says fall better than Halloween? I love to see an original and different way to present candy to all the little goblins and zombies. This idea is so stinking cute and I just love it. I will be making these to hand out at my house this year. Check out the post and get your own Biohazard Candy Tag Printable right here!

I always find some of the best recipes from Carlee at Cooking with Carlee. This cheesecake is no exception. I have not tried it yet, but I absolutely plan to and it’s the perfect fall food, don’t you think? Caramel, pecans, cheesecake? Mmmmmmmm. It looks so good!! Check out the recipe Kathy’s Caramel Pecan Cheesecake right here!

I love anything with a peanut sauce and this recipe from Crafting a Family looks so good. Yet another on my list of recipes to try very soon. Doesn’t it look delicious? You can find the recipe for Spicy Zucchini Noodles and Peanut Lime Sauce right here.

Hi friends it’s Laura from Little House Big Alaska and I’m your host
this week. It was SO hard to choose my favorite posts from all the
linked up posts from last week. SO many amazing posts to choose from I
couldn’t even pick three I HAD to pick four. HAD TO.

First up the Green Tomato Tacos from Mj’s Kitchen. What? I know!

Green Tomato Tacos

Aren’t they gorgeous? I think I have a few tomatoes left in my
greenhouse and I’m going to make these for dinner this week.

Then The Bearded Hiker brought a gorgeous Sauerbraten recipe for Oktoberfest.

Sauerbraten

Yeah I need to make that too!

Side dishes are sometimes my FAVORITE part of a meal, anybody else
feel that way? Maybe this Loaded Cauliflower Casserole from Just Simple Somethings is just the
thing to make you love side dishes too.

And let’s top off this tasty post with a very seasonal Pumpkin Bread with Chocolate
Chip
recipe from Back to my Southern Roots. I need a slice RIGHT
NOW.

Hi everyone! April here from Home Sweet Homestead, and I get the fun responsibility of picking this week’s featured posts. You all don’t make it easy either!

First up is 10 Little Red Riding Hood Crafts from The Treasured Bookshelf. Don’t just read your child this classic book, bring it to life by making props that help you tell the story! Definitely trying this with my grandchildren.

Pressure cookers have made a big comeback in recent years, and are becoming quite popular in the cooking world. Reviews, Chews, and How-To’s shares their tasty recipe for Pressure Cooker Adobo Chicken. They even cook the rice in the pressure cooker too!

And last but not least, are these good ole Southern Fried Chicken Livers from Julia’s Simply Southern. I never did care for chicken livers much, but found out after enjoying them at a friends house one day, that it wasn’t the food itself I didn’t like, it was the way it was prepared. Once you’ve tried these crispy fried bites, I think you’ll agree too!

Allison from The PinterTest Kitchen here, and I had the fun job of picking this week’s featured posts. This is a tough job, because we get so many amazing entries every week!

Let’s start off this week with Strawberry Ice Cream recipe from Creamish. Here in Virginia, the weather is finally starting to cool off, but it is always the right temperature for ice cream, am I right? Especially ice cream that looks this good!

Strawberries-and-Cream-Ice-Cream

Next up, I can’t wait to try this Red Pepper Tapenade from Little House Big Alaska. I love recipes like this that look super fancy, but are easy to make with ingredients you already have in our pantry. Plus… red pepper! YUM! What’s not to love?

Finally, fall is just around the corner, so check out these 5 Essential Fall Farmhouse Decorating Elements from Welsh Design Studio. I especially love her tips about using white pumpkins. My house has a beach theme and is decorated in cool colors like blue and purple, so traditional fall decorations don’t really match. I use a lot of white pumpkins and leaves in my fall decorating and love the new tips!

This week’s Featured Posts

Welcome everyone! Amy from Savory Moments here this week. I’m excited to be hosting the Friday Frenzy for the first time this week! I’m so glad that more people are linking up and sharing their recipe, craft, and DIY posts every week. These are a few posts that really caught my eye from last week’s link part.

The first feature this week is these Double Chocolate Bars on a Budget from Back to My Southern Roots. Aside from looking delicious, the title contains two of my favorite words – chocolate & budget! I love frugal cooking and especially love any dessert containing sweetened condensed milk.

Next is the Cow Patty Casserole from Recipes and Ramblings with the Tumbleweed Contessa. Another one that really caught my eye from the title! I can’t see food called a cow patty and not click over to check it out haha. I love all the Tex-Mex flavors and the cornbread topping and it looks very family friendly.

Our last featured post is a tutorial from Little House Big Alaska on How to Make Calendula Salve. I love the color and since I almost always have dry skin, I’d love to make my own salve with homegrown flowers for helping to moisturize!

Thank you for joining us and don’t forget to pin this week’s featured posts. Please link up your posts below and share the word with all your fellow blogging friends! Have a great week!

These come from the Bearded Hiker and just looking at them makes my mouth WATER. Maybe I’m just hungry for dinner but maybe it’s just that they look delish! I might just be making these for my next party.

Well now that I’m planning a party we’ll need some Handmade Beer Bottle Tiki Torches. These come to us from Craft Beering, a site after my very own heart, I DO love beer. Anyway these torches are look fun and easy to make, and they’re a great way to recycle old bottles.
